does this paragraph sound okay?

Holden’s fantasy is perhaps the greatest evidence supporting the theme of misoneism. According to him,  his dream goes “ I’m standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff—I mean if they’re running and they don’t look where they’re going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That’s all I’d do all day. I’d just be the catcher in the rye and all” (Salinger 94). It is from this passage in which the novel’s title comes from. The catcher in the rye’s duty is basically to protect the youth from falling into the corruption of the adult world, Holden’s primary fear. This emphasizes the novel’s dominating theme of misoneism because it shows that even Holden himself is aware of his fear of growing up.
